NZFWDA
NZ4WDA

The NZFWDA is the National Four Wheel Drive body of New Zealand. This was established in 1974 and represents over 1400 members, 4WD supporters, and their local clubs.

The 4WD National Body purpose is to further and improve the 4WD activities in New Zealand.

The NZ Association:
  • Values the highest safety standards before, during and after all 4WD activities.
  • Endorses respect and care while participating in 4WD activities in the environment.
  • Acknowledges the contribution of its members and their values.
  • Values and respects land owners and land users.
  • Encourages non- discrimination of all participants.

The NZ Four Wheele Drive Association is administered by a group of volunteers, through a National Executive Council and also three regional zone committees, and a competition committee, which are directly represented on the executive.

Zones
  • Northern Zone – North Cape to Taupo
  • Central Zone – Taupo to Wellington
  • Southern Zone- South Island
